The US has criticized the recent attack on a convoy of US consulate workers in Anambra State, Nigeria by unknown gunmen.
The convoy was made up of five US Mission employees and four Nigerian police officers who were travelling to a US-funded flood response project in the state.
Four members of the convoy were killed in the attack. US Secretary of State, Antony Blinken, has promised to work with Nigerian law enforcement to ensure that those responsible are punished.
