President Muhammadu Buhari has suspended the acting chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), Ibrahim Magu according a report by Punch newspaper.
The EFCC boss is currently being interrogated by a presidential panel headed by Justice Ayo Salami.
The panel is probing several allegations bordering on misconduct and violation of public trust against the EFCC boss.
Magu was grilled until 10 pm on Monday and spent the night in a detention facility in Abuja.
