FCT Police and Nigerian Army Rescue Abducted Victims

The Anti-Kidnapping Squad of the Federal Capital Territory Police Command, in conjunction with Nigerian Army troops, successfully rescued victims of a kidnapping incident that occurred on January 2, 2024, in the Zuma 1 area of the Bwari Area Council. According to a statement released on Sunday by SP Josephine Adeh, the FCT Command Police Public Relations Officer, the rescued victims have been reunited with their families.

The operation took place around Kajuru forest in Kaduna state at approximately 11:30 pm on Saturday, January 20, 2024. SP Josephine Adeh expressed gratitude to the Inspector General of Police, IGP Olukayode Egbetokun Ph.D., NPM, for deploying the newly commissioned Special Intervention Squad. This deployment has significantly bolstered the existing security structure in the FCT, instilling public confidence.
