A car-snatching gang has been captured by the Police in Jigawa state recovering three stolen vehicles. Two suspects, Abdullahi Sani and Faruk Adamu, were arrested after stealing a Toyota Corolla from Dr. Abdullahi Dogo.
Upon interrogation, the suspects who were found with master keys and mechanic tools, confessed to being car thieves and admitted to stealing Dr. Abdullahi Dogo’s vehicle. Personal belongings of the victim were also recovered from the suspects.
They implicated their boss, identified as Abubakar aka Dan-Fulani, residing in Kano, who they claimed was their receiver. The investigation is ongoing at the SCID Dutse and all suspects will face legal consequences, says ASP Abubakar Isah.
