Basking in the euphoria of his performance in office, it was not difficult to sell his candidature for the office of the National Chairman of the All Progressive Congress at a time the party faithful wanted more engagements and reconciliation ahead of the 2019 general elections.
On June 23rd, 2018, Oshiomhole’s emergence as National chairman of the APC was welcomed with much fun fare and celebration as speaker after speaker expressed their views on the convention.
However, five months down the line, the once united house has fallen apart due to the outcome of the Primaries conducted by the Oshiomhole led national working committee.
