Oshiomhole Speaks on DSS ‘Arrest, Interrogation’

The National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress, Adams Oshiomhole, has spoken for the first time since the news of his alleged arrest and interrogation by the agents of the Department of State Security Services (DSS) broke out.

The embattled APC chairman spoke with newsmen in Lagos after he arrived from a short journey to the United States of America.

He described his reported detention and grilling by the operatives of the Department of State Services last week as normal.

Oshiomhole said it was not the first time he would be a guest of the DSS saying he only had a conversation with the agents of the DSS not interrogated as reported.

He denied being let off on administrative bail, adding that Kogi State governor, Yahaya Bello, did not come to the DSS office to facilitate his freedom.

The former governor of Edo State also dismissed the reported allegations of corruption or inducement by some party members.
