Randy Waldrum, head coach of the Super Falcons, has praised his players for their performance in the 2024 Olympic Games qualifier against South Africa.
The West African team secured a 0-0 draw in the second leg of their final qualifying round fixture in Pretoria on Tuesday, earning them a place in the tournament with a 1-0 aggregate score.
Waldrum commended his players for their defensive efforts, stating that they had achieved seven or eight clean sheets and had been solid defensively.
He also acknowledged the need for improvement on the offensive side and expressed confidence that with time and proper work, the team would become better in that aspect.
