Moroccan referee, Jayed Jalal, who officiated at the recent Africa Cup of Nations, has been appointed the center referee for the international friendly match between the Super Eagles of Nigeria and the Black Stars of Ghana.
The 36-year-old will be supported by fellow Moroccans Akarhad Mostafa, Brinsi Zakaria, and El Fariq Hamza as assistant referees and fourth official, respectively.
The match between Nigeria and Ghana will take place at the Grand Stade de Marrakech today, marking the first meeting between the two West African football powerhouses since the 2022 FIFA World Cup play-off in March 2022.
The encounter is scheduled to kick off at 5 pm Nigerian time, promising an exciting showdown between the two rival teams.
