Wike Revokes 165 Plots Of Land In FCT

FCT Minister Nyesom Wike has taken action by revoking 165 plots of land in the serviced areas of the Federal Capital City (FCT). The decision comes as a result of the failure of the landowners to develop these plots.

In a statement issued by the Federal Capital Territory Administration FCTA, it was revealed that the revocation was approved due to continuous violations of the terms of the agreement outlined in the 1978 Land Use Act. The Land Department compiled the notice for revocation, which received Wike’s approval.

The affected plots belong to both individuals and corporate entities who have consistently failed to adhere to the terms of the agreement as specified in Section 28(5) (a) & (b) of the Land Use Act.

These revoked plots are located in various districts within the Federal Capital City, including Central Business District, Maitama, Wuse II, Gudu, Wuye, Jabi, Utako, Katampe Extension, Idu Industrial Area, and Asokoro Districts.
