The Anambra State Government has warned citizens to be prepared for the year’s anticipated rains and floods.
The warning was issued by the state Commissioner of Information, Paul Nwosu, on Friday.
While listing mitigation measures for the impending flooding, Nwosu mentioned high-risk communities such as Ogbaru, Ayamelum, Anambra East, Anambra West, Onitsha North, Onitsha South, Awka North, Idemili South, Ekwusigo, and Ihiala LGAs.
