The Nasarawa State Command of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) has arrested ann 18-year-old male for allegedly defiling a 4-year-old child in the state.
Ibrahim Hashimu, 18, committed the offense on April 22, 2023 at Angwan Magaji, beside the Emir’s palace in Lafia, according to the NSCDC’s Public Relations Officer, DSC Jerry Victor, on Friday, April 28.
He stated that the victim was observed weeping and covered in bloodstains. She then told the story of what happened to her mother.
The PPRO went on to say that after getting the information, the command quickly went into action, and the suspect, Ibrahim Hashimu, was captured and sent to the NSCDC office for interrogation.
He said that the suspect confessed to the crime and begged for compassion.
