President Muhammadu Buhari has written the Senate seeking the confirmation of the nomination of Justice Hussein Baba-Yusuf for appointment as the Chief Judge of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).
The Senate President, Ahmad Lawan, read Buhari’s letter on the floor at plenary on Tuesday.
Recall that on August 14, Buhari had appointed Justice Baba-Yusuf as the Acting Chief Judge of the FCT.
Baba-Yusuf’s nomination followed the recommendation of the National Judicial Council (NJC).
