President Muhammadu Buhari has postponed his scheduled trip to London for a follow up medical check up.
This was announced in a statement released on Friday by the Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, Femi Adesina.
Recall that in a statement released on Thursday, Adesina had said that Buhari would proceed to London, United Kingdom, on Friday, June 25, 2021, for a ‘scheduled medical follow-up’.
He had also said the president would be back in the country in the second week of July, 2021.
However, in the Friday statement, the presidential spokesman said, “The medical follow-up visit of President Muhammadu Buhari to United Kingdom earlier scheduled for today, Friday, June 25, 2021, has been postponed.
“A new date will be announced in due course.”
