Trump launches new communication platform

The Former President of the United States of America, Donald Trump, has launched his own personal media website after months of being suspended from several social media platforms.

The platform appears on the website: www.DonaldJTrump.com/desk.

It is reported that it features are short essay-like posts and videos, as well as links by which website users can share their posts to social media sites such as Facebook and Twitter.

The new communication site is described as “A beacon of freedom, A place to speak freely and safely,”.

While there are no features to enable website users to reply or engage with the president on his posts, they can make donations and also make use of the shopping feature to obtain the Make American Great Again merch.

According to reports by Fox news, the site was created by the President’s former campaign manager, Brad Parscale, and its to be powered by Campaign Nucleus— the “digital ecosystem made for efficiently managing political campaigns and organizations.”

Also the platform is “Paid for by Save America JFC, a joint fundraising committee of Save America and Make America Great Again PAC. Not authorized by any candidate or candidate’s committee. donaldjtrump.com”.

President Trump’s senior adviser, Jason Miller while speaking with Fox pointed out that the platform was not a social media platform.

He said, “The website is a great resource to find his latest statements and highlights from his first term in office, but this is not a new social media platform. We’ll have additional information coming on that front in the very near future.
