Nigeria’s Vice President, Yemi Osinbajo, presided over the Federal Executive Council meeting on Wednesday.
This is his second time since President Muhammadu Buhari traveled to the United Kingdom for routine medical checkup.
The virtual FEC meeting was attended physically by four ministers in the Executive Council Chambers of the State House.
A minute silence was observed by the Federal Executive Council in honor of a former Minister of Commerce and Industry, Mahmud Tukur, who died last Friday in Abuja.
Tukur served as Minister during the military regime of Muhammadu Buhari.
