COVID-19: Nigeria records 938 new cases, 8 deaths

Nigeria has confirmed 938 new cases of COVID-19 and 8 deaths.

The new figures were published on the official website of the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control on Thursday, February 11, 2021.

The total number of confirmed cases in the country now stands at 143,516.

The total death toll is now 1,710, while 118,012 cases have been discharged in 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory.

The 938 new cases, according to the NCDC, were reported from 20 states.

The states include; Lagos(236), FCT(123), Plateau(92), Benue(63), Katsina(43), Oyo(50), Osun(45), Kaduna(43), Edo(33), Ogun(31), Ebonyi(31), Akwa Ibom(30), Kano(26), Gombe(18), Bauchi(16), Delta(12), Imo(11), Cross River(10), Rivers(10), Niger(5).
