Governor of Sokoto State, Aminu Tambuwal, has announced he has gone into isolation after coming in contact with a COVID-19 infected person.
This was made known on the governor’s official Twitter account on Friday.
Tambuwal also stated that he had done a COVID-19 test and that his deputy would oversee all activities of the state until the outcome of the test result.
The tweet says, “Gov @AWTambuwal goes into isolation after coming in contact with someone who tested positive for Covid-19. The Deputy Gov will oversee all activities of the state pending the outcome of the test result of the Governor.”
