Air Peace Warns Against Fake Website Defrauding Travellers

Indigenous airline company, Air Peace, issued a warning on Tuesday regarding fraudulent activities on its portal, where intending passengers seeking to book UK flights were deceived by scammers who cloned its official website.

This alert comes shortly after the airline launched its historic direct flight from Nigeria to the United Kingdom.

Air Peace took to its official X handle (formerly Twitter) to raise awareness, cautioning customers against the actions of fraudsters who have replicated its website and are duping unsuspecting travelers.

The airline stated that cyber criminals utilized its website identity materials to create a fake website, which they are using to defraud unsuspecting individuals.

In its statement, Air Peace said: “Our attention has been drawn to the existence of a website “http://www.flyairpeace.uk” purporting to be an official Air Peace website and defrauding unsuspecting individuals.

“We would like to dissociate the Air Peace brand from this fraudulent site because it is not owned by us.

The one and only website of the Air Peace remains “http://www.flyairpeace.com. “Members of the public should totally ignore the site as it is impersonating Air Peace and fleecing passengers.”
