Troops of the Joint Task Force North West Operation HADARIN DAJI (OPHD), in a well-coordinated clearance operation in Katsina state, rescued 35 kidnapped victims and neutralized 2 terrorists.
Information Officer Operation HADARIN DAJI, Captain YAHAYA IBRAHIM, in a statement, said the operation, conducted in the Dumburum forest, resulted in an encounter with armed terrorists, leading to the successful rescue of 19 males, 12 females, and 4 children.
The rescued victims were promptly handed over to the Katsina state Government.
Commander 17 Brigade Nigerian Army/Sector 2 Operation HADARIN DAJI, Brigadier General OA Fadairo, pledged to continue efforts to dismantle terrorist enclaves.
