Police and military operatives in Adamawa State successfully apprehended four suspected kidnappers who had allegedly kidnapped two residents of Michika local government area.
The Adamawa Police Command, in collaboration with military operatives, announced the arrest on February 8, 2024. The suspects include Abubakar Abdullahi and Ibrahim Garba from Borno State, Isa Ahmadu from Yobe State, and Bulama Ahmadu, all believed to be involved in the abduction.
A coordinated operation with hunters at Gamu Hill resulted in the killing of one kidnapper and the recovery of an AK-47 rifle in the ongoing fight against kidnapping in the region.
