Some suspected Boko Haram terrorists have carried out a deadly attack on some travelers on Borno Highway.
Quoting a Civilian Joint Task Force source, Daily Trust Newspaper reported that the travelers were attacked between Longomani and Musini near Ngala town at about 5:30pm on Thursday evening in Ngala local government area of Borno State.
The source was quoted to have said that many travelers died during the attack while several others sustained gunshot wounds.
“The insurgent opened fire at passengers and burnt truck vehicles conveying food items…they burnt down at least 5 vehicles including a truck with food items, 2 golf cars and a Peugeot car”.The CJTF Source said.
The Military has not responded as at the time of filing this report.
