The Nigerian armed forces has eliminated a notorious bandit leader Dongon Bangaji and three others after a face-off between the troops of Operation Whirl-stroke and Dongon Bangaji terror gang in Giwa local government of Kaduna State.
This was announced, in a press statement on Monday by the Commissioner of Internal Affairs, Samuel Aruwan.
He said the troops came into contact with the bandits on an intensive patrol across Tumburku village, in Kaduna state.
Samuel Aruwan also disclosed that Items recovered from the bandits, were a motorcycle, a mobile phone, gas lighters, tobacco, assorted charms, and a polythene bag containing petrol.
