The Senate Committee on Nigerian Army, led by Senator Abdulaziz Yar’adua, expressed profound gratitude and admiration for the Nigerian Army and other Security Agencies for their successful rescue operation of kidnapped students from LEA School Kuriga in Chikun LGA of Kaduna State.
In a statement signed by the Chairman, Senate Committee on Nigerian Army, Senator Abdulaziz Yar’adua, the Committee praised the swift and heroic efforts of the troops, in collaboration with local authorities, which led to the safe return of the abducted students, who have been handed over to the Kaduna State Government for further care.
The Committee also highlighted another recent rescue operation in Gada LGA of Sokoto State, where 16 pupils and a woman were freed from captivity, further underscoring the dedication and resolve of the armed forces to rescue all hostages and bring perpetrators to justice. Senator Yar’adua acknowledged the challenges faced by the military and pledged to enhance legislative measures to improve their welfare and operational efficiency.
The Senate Committee’s commendation reflects the nation’s solidarity and support for the military and Security Agencies in their mission to safeguard Nigeria’s security and ensure a safe future for all citizens.
