The Police command in Enugu State has arrested the four men for allegedly selling beef of dead and decomposed animals to unsuspecting members of the public.
The Public Relations Officer of the command, Ebere Amaraizu said the suspects were arrested at Agbogugu axis by the state operatives of Mbanabo division, adding that they specialised in sourcing for dead animals that are decomposed and selling them to customers with the connivance of cold room stores operators.
The State Commissioner of Police, Ahmad Abdulrahman has directed a full scale investigation into the matter while the suspects are currently being held.
