The Lagos State Environmental and Special Offences Enforcement Unit arrested 14 persons – five criminals and nine commercial workers – at a Brothel in Mile 2 on Friday for alleged possession of illegal drugs. The Brothel was also destroyed.
Residents of Mile 2 and FESTAC had complained of incessant robbery and the sale of illegal drugs such as Indian Hemp, Tramadol and sex enhancement drugs, especially to underage children.
It was revealed that the same brothel had been previously demolished by the Task Force, but was surprisingly rebuilt by the miscreants. However, the force ensured that this time it would not be rebuilt.
The arrested suspects would be charged to court by the Lagos State Police Command
