The Federal Government, through the Tertiary Education Trust Fund (TETFund), is set to establish more than twenty-four skills and innovation centers across the nation aimed at unlocking the potential of Nigerians and enhancing productivity.
Minister of Education, Professor Tahir Mamman, revealed this during a visit to Innov8 Hub in Abuja, accompanied by key stakeholders including the executive secretary of TETfund, Arch. Sonny Echono.
Innov8 Hub serves as a hub for Innovation Start-up Incubation, Technology Transfer, Knowledge & Skill Impartation, Prototype Development, and Fabrication.
It is noteworthy that TETFund is currently collaborating with Innov8 Hub to provide practical training and mentorship for Nigerian youths and academics, aiming to produce graduates with employable skills and to enhance research efforts.
