The All Progressives Congress (APC) National Working Committee (NWC) has announced the inconclusiveness of the governorship primary election in Edo State.
According to a statement from the party’s spokesperson, Felix Morka, the election will be completed on Thursday.
Morka stated that this decision was reached after the NWC held an emergency meeting to assess the report on the primary election.
The primary election, which took place in Benin, the state capital, on Saturday, was unfortunately marred by violence.
As a result, three separate primaries were conducted, leading to the emergence of different candidates: Dennis Idahosa, Anamero Dekeri, and Monday Okpebholo, the senator for Edo Central.
