Justice John Tsoho of the Federal High Court Abuja has granted an ex parte application to the police and the Department of State Security Services, to prosecute former Minister of Aviation, Fani-Kayode for allegedly aiding the escape of the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, Nnamdi Kanu, from Nigeria.
Mr. Isiah Ayugu, who filed the suit also seeked for the court order to compel the DSS and the Police to arrest the former aviation minister and Senator Eyinnaya Abaribe who stood as one of the sureties for the IPOB Leader.
Justice John Tsoho, in a ruling on an ex parte application, granted leave to the plaintiff, Mr. Isiah Ayugu, to commence the suit.
He also ordered that the suit be served on the defendants,DSS and the Police.
He fixed November 22 for the hearing of the suit.
Kanu was spotted in Jerusalem on October 19, 2018 in Isreal.
He was last seen in Nigeria on September 10, 2017 after some military men invaded his residence in Afaraukwu community in Abia State.
