The Speaker of the House of Representatives, Tajudeen Abbas, has announced that the 2024 budget proposal is slated for passage on December 30, 2023.
Speaking during the resumption of plenary on Tuesday, Abbas, who represents Zaria Federal Constituency, conveyed the Appropriation Committee’s directive to Committee Chairmen, instructing them to submit reports of the budget defense by Ministries, Departments, and Agencies no later than 8 pm on Tuesday, December 19, 2023.
