FIFA to reveal World Cup Final Venue

FIFA is set to reveal the host city for the final of the 2026 World Cup, along with schedule details for the inaugural 48-team tournament, on Sunday. The United States, Canada, and Mexico are co-hosting the event, and the announcement will also include the venue for the opening match of the tournament.

Reports indicate that Dallas is the front-runner to host the final on July 19, with AT&T Stadium, the home of the Dallas Cowboys NFL team, being a likely choice.

However, MetLife Stadium in New Jersey, home to the NFL’s New York Giants and New York Jets, has actively campaigned for the opportunity to host the prestigious final. Los Angeles is also being considered, having hosted the World Cup final in 1994 when Brazil emerged victorious against Italy at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena.
