The Nigeria-Morocco gas pipeline is slated to kick off construction in 2024, as announced by Nigeria’s Gas Minister, Ekperikpe Ekpo.
Stretching across 5,600 kilometers and traversing 13 African countries, the pipeline aims to facilitate the transportation of gas from Nigeria to West Africa and potentially extend into Europe, opening up substantial economic prospects.
The project, connecting Brass Island in Nigeria to northern Morocco, could potentially link with the Maghreb European Pipeline, positioning Nigeria to earn considerable revenues by supplying gas to Europe.
