In a bid to address emerging crimes and also beef up security across the Federal Capital Territory, the FCT Command of the Nigeria Police has commenced a special joint operation to address a myriad of security challenges of kidnapping recorded in some remote communities.
49 suspected criminals have also been arrested and paraded for various crimes bothering on kidnapping, armed robbery, illegal possession of fire arms, car snatching among others. The command has reviewed its crime fighting measure across FCT. It is also deploying proactive and result-oriented measures that will go a long way in tackling the security concerns.
