Chukwuemeka Ezeife, the Former Governor of Anambra State said that if the other parts of Nigeria conspire and deny the South East Zone presidency in 2023, they will have to embrace the Nnamdi Kanu-led Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB).
Ezeife has accused the Nigerian government of deliberately sidelining the Igbos by denying them key positions especially with regard to leading any of the Security Agencies.
He said that Kanu is crying for a referendum which is part of democracy.If Ndigbo is denied 2023 Presidency, then they can as well deny them citizenship of Nigeria.
“So, IPOB is promoting Biafra because of various problems and punishments against Ndigbo.But, the Federal Government of Nigeria has been very busy pushing the Igbos out of Nigeria.
Ezeife acknowledged that he was pleased with the level of response IPOB is receiving from the rest of the world – Europe, European Union, they met with Nnamdi Kanu and they saw point with what he was saying.
