INEC has told the Presidential Candidate of the Allied Congress Party of Nigeria, (ACPN) Obiageli Ezekwesili that it was too late to withdraw from the Presidential race.
INEC said the date for withdrawal and replacement for Presidential candidate was 17th of November,2018 thus “the deadline for Ezekwesili or any candidate in that category to withdraw or be replaced has passed”.
Ezekwesili had said she withdrew from the Presidential race to support a broad coalition for a viable alternative to defeat the APC and the PDP in the 2019 Presidential elections.
