The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) says it has not arrested the Chief Justice of Nigeria nor raided his house.
EFCC while responding to a Twitter post by a PDP Chieftain, Femi Fani-Kayode said the agency never went to the house of the CJN to arrest him.
EFCC said it will file a law suit against Fani-kayode and an activist, Yinka Odumakin over an attempt “to manipulate the people against the commission”.
Fani-Kayode has however deleted the controversial tweet saying he was erroneously informed.

Yesterday I was informed by usually reliable sources that EFCC were positioned outside CJN's home. I have since discovered that the men were not from EFCC and I removed the posting. The error is regretted. Can FG tell us which agency sent those men and why they beat a retreat?
