The PDP has suspended its presidential campaign in protest against President Muhammadu Buhari’s decision to suspend the Chief Justice of Nigeria, Walter Onnoghen.
The PDP, which described the President action as “dangerous and brazen assault on the constitution” said the suspension of its campaign activities is in solidarity “with Nigerians in our collective rejection of the assault against our democratic order”.
The Presidency had cited an order from the Code of Conduct Tribunal as reason that informed the action that led to the suspension of Justice Onnoghen.
