The PDP’s Presidential Candidate, Atiku Abubakar has described the recent suspension of Justice Walter Onnoghen by President Muhammadu Buhari as action that “falls within the pattern of executive lawlessness”.
Atiku who also accused the executive of serially assaulting the National Assembly said the attack on the Judiciary by President Buhari “has set a new precedent in our democracy that has no equivalence in our history, not even in the darkest days of military dictatorship. This cannot be allowed to stand”.
Atiku warned APC to ‘desist’ from taking actions that may push the country into a major constitutional crisis that could derail the electoral process.
