Super Eagles Mid-fielder John Ogu has challenged the exclusion of team-mates Wilfred Ndidi, Williams Troost Ekong and Odion Ighalo from the Confederation of African Football (CAF) best eleven list.
The Hapoel Beer sheva of Israel’s Midfielder in a series of tweets criticized the selection process, saying some of the players that made the list didn’t perform better for both clubs and countries like the trio of Ndidi, Ekong and Ighalo.

Let’s put sentiment aside , I can argue this anywhere that @Ndidi25 ,@WTroostEkong ,even @ighalojude all should be there . Award is based on your performance for club and country and not how big of a club you play in. Ndidi plays for arguably the best league in the world
