The Nigerian military will get N2 billion from China to buy military equipment in the fight against Boko Haram insurgents.
President Muhammadu Buhari was in China in September 2018 where the bilateral agreement was reached.
Boko Haram and its ISWAP allies have launched several attacks against military bases in the North-East in recent times with soldiers reportedly lamenting lack of sophisticated equipment to take on the terrorists.
