Kanu Directs IPOB Members to Vote in Abia, Ebonyi

The Leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) Nnamdi Kanu has backtracked on his earlier position that members of his group will boycott the 2019 general elections.
Kanu, in a live Broadcast on Radio Biafra said his members will only vote in the two states to stop the re-election bids of Governors Okezie Ikpeazu and Dave Umahi whom he described as “enemies of Biafra“.
Kanu, who has been advocating for the sovereign state of Biafra was arrested in October 2015 for alleged treasonable felony. He was last seen in Nigeria after his home was raided by the Nigerian military in September 2017.
