Justice Walter Onnoghen has challenged his suspension as Chief Justice of Nigeria by President Muhammadu.
His lawyers, Wole Olanipekun, Kanu Agabi, and Adegboyega Awolowo filed the Appeal on Onnoghen’s behalf.
Onnoghen insisted that he was not given fair hearing by the CCT before the order to swear-in Justice Tanko Muhammad was given.
The National Judicial Council (NJC) has given Onnoghen and the Acting CJN, Tanko Mohammed seven days to respond to petitions filed against them.
