The Ekiti State Election Petition Tribunal has upheld the result of the governorship election that returned Kayode Fayemi as the Governor of the State.
The Tribunal struck out the petition of the PDP’s candidate, Olusola Eleka’s and ruled that Fayemi is the duly elected Governor of the state.
Fayemi contested the election on the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC), and his victory was challenged by Olusola Eleka of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
