Reports say the chief Justice of Nigeria, Walter Onnoghen will be arraigned in court on Monday over alleged under declaration of assets and illegal operation of foreign domiciliary account.
It was also reported that the CJN will be asked to vacate his office.
Justice Onnoghen was appointed Nigeria’s Chief Justice in 2017 following the retirement of his predecessor, Mahmoud Mohammed.
If eventually arraigned, he will be the country’s first CJN to be prosecuted.
