The Code of Conduct Tribunal has overturned the judgments of the High Court and that of the Industrial Court which restrained it from hearing the alleged non-declaration of assets by the Chief Justice of Nigeria, Walter Onnoghen.
CCT says it is constitutionally mandated to try all cases referred to it by the code of conduct bureau.
It also advised that the suit challenging its jurisdiction to hear the matter be withdrawn.
The Tribunal adjourned hearing till 28th of January,2019.
