President Muhammadu Buhari has appointed AIG Mohammed Adamu as the Acting Inspector-General of Police.
Adamu was appointed following the retirement of Ibrahim Idris who has clocked the 60 years mandatory age of retirement.
The Acting IGP Adamu hails from Lafia, Nasarawa State and enlisted into the Force on 1st February, 1986 as Cadet Assistant Inspector General of Police.
