The Coalition of United Political Parties has commenced legal Action against President Buhari, Inspector General of Police, Ibrahim Idris and Police Service Commission over an alleged plot to extend the tenure of the Police IG after his statutory retirement as Police Officer on 15 January, 2019.
CUPP said “the plot to retain the IGP after retirement is Buhari/APC last minute desperate attempt to politicize the police force and use security forces tothwart the electoral will of Nigerians.
