President Muhammadu Buhari’s 2019 Budget Presentation was greeted with boos and cheers on Wednesday by Senators and members of the House of Representatives.
Buhari, in his presentation said the N8.83 trillion budget estimate was prepared based on 2.3 million barrel of oil production per day, N305 to $1 exchange rate: 3.01 percent GDP growth, 9.98 percent inflation rate.
The President said the capital expenditure is pegged at N2.031 trillion while the recurrent expenditure is N4.04 trillion.
