The President of the Nigeria Bar Association, (NBA) Paul Usoro (SAN), has pleaded not guilty to charges bordering on N1.4billion fraud, filed against him by the Economic and Financial Crime Commission (EFCC).
The court granted Usoro bail for the sum of N250 million, with one surety.
The court also ordered that the accused’s international passport be deposited with the court’s registry which will be verified if genuine.
The case was adjourned to February 5, March 5, and March 6, 2019 for trial.
