The Nigerian Super Falcons on Tuesday defeated Cameroon to emerge as the first African team to qualify for the 2019 women’s world cup in France.
The qualifying match initially ended in a 0-0 draw between Nigeria and Cameroon.
The Nigerian team however prevailed in the penalty kick off round, as they won their opponents 4-2 goals.
