Nigeria international, Alex Iwobi has been outstanding in recent times for both club and country and he has been nominated for Arsenal Player of the Month for November following his impressive displays.
The 22-year-old provided the assist for Alex Lacazette’s equalizer in their 1-1 draw with Liverpool and had a hand in the Gunners’ winning goal against Bournemouth on Sunday.
The forward will slug it out with midfielder Lucas Torreira, defender Rob Holding and goalkeeper Bernd Leno for a chance to clinch the individual prize, last won by Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.
This season, the Nigeria international has scored once and contributed four assists in 16 appearances across all competitions.
His performance has helped Unai Emery’s men to the fifth spot in the league standings with 27 points from 13 games.
Iwobi will hope to continue with the impressive form when Arsenal take on Tottenham Hotspur in their next league game on Sunday.
